Under 19s La Trobe University Football Clubs U'19s Team is the most important team in the development of a successful club. It provides the opportunity for young men, venturing away from home to take the responsibility of supporting themselves and building a competitive football team with their peers and constructing some of the greatest memories of their lives. If you look at the current senior team and their recent success, 75 percent of the players initially bonded whilst representing the club through the under 19's competition. As well as this, the clubs current president, secretary and treasurer formed the leadership team for the under 19's in 2005. All have gone on to be premiership players in 2009 & 2010, graduate from university and gain employment within high profile Melbourne businesses The La Trobe University Football Clubs Under 19's provide a family away from home, which fosters high level sporting performance, academia and most importantly mateship.
