Congratulations to Jordy O'Brien who was awarded the 2014 La Trobe University Football Club Best and Fairest on Friday night.

O'Brien led the count from start to finish; eventually winning his first senior best and fairest with 57 votes ahead of runner up Liam Toohey on 42.

David Weiss (36), Jack McMeel (23) and Mark O'Brien (17) rounded out the top five.

O'Brien's win follows on from his club and league Under 19 best and fairest victories in 2011.

In the other grades, pocket rocket Michael Burrowes took out the reserves best and fairest award with 43 votes, ahead of Mitch Pearson (32) and Cameron Ruwoldt (30).

In the under 19s, Jack Salau took out the inaugural Braedon Hensel Perpetual Trophy with 51 votes ahead of a fast-finishing Mitch Oliver on 44 votes. Jacob Keiller was third on 24 votes.

In the girls, Mad Goodman was the runaway winner with 43 votes, 21 ahead of the second-placed Em Flavel.

The club again congratulates all the award winners on the night.
