La Trobe University Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Alan Ezard as its Senior Coach.
Ezard, who has committed to the club for the next two years, joins LTUFC with considerable credentials and experience.
Ezard's playing career included a 10-year stint at Essendon, where he played in the Bombers' back-to-back premierships in 1984 and 1985.
He is a best and fairest winner (1991) and leading goal kicker (1986) at Essendon, and a five-time Victorian representative, which includes an EJ Whitten Medal as Victoria's best player against South Australia in 1991.
His 20-year coaching record is equally impressive. Ezard has enjoyed stints as both head and assistant coach in the VFL, Ballarat FL, EDFL, WRFL and EFL; culminating in three premierships.
Alan's appointment is a huge coup for the club and one that everyone involved is extremely excited about.
More details about a "Meet the coach" evening, along with the club's preseason plans and other coaching appointments will be advised in the coming weeks.
