Do you want to play Aussie Rules, meet new people around Uni, train hard, have fun and not have to travel?
Then become part of LTU's oldest club and join us. We train at the La Trobe University Playing fields and have 3 teams competing in the VAFA each Saturday and the newly formed Women's side competing in the VWFL each Sunday. So come along and introduce yourself ... and you can be a part of it!
Pre Season Training - Monday & Wednesday Night @ 6pm for 6.30pm start Training commences following Xmas break on 27/01/2010.

Who Can Join - Anyone can join, you do not need to study at La Trobe University, or even be a student. If you study at RMIT or just live in the area, we invite you to come down and play for La Trobe University Football Club.

Pre Season Training - After Xmas Break (Monday & Wednesday's)
Pre-Season Training after the Xmas break gets away on Wednesday 27th of January @ 6pm for 6:30pm start (La Trobe Uni - Main Oval Carpark 2A). It will be held Monday & Wednesday's. Bring Runners & Boots.
Any New or Old players looking at joining the club in 2010 are also welcome to attend.
Pre Season Training - Wednesday 25th of November
Pre-Season Training for the 2010 campaign gets underway on the Wednesday 25th of November @ 6:30pm (La Trobe Uni - Main Oval Carpark 2A). It will be held every Wednesday finishing on 16th of Decemeber with some Beers & BBQ for the Xmas break. All Seniors, Reserves & Under 19s are encouraged to attend.
Any New or Old players looking at joining the club in 2010 are also welcome to attend.
La Trobe Football Club Premiers for 2009
La Trobe University Football Club won the Grand Final in both Seniors and Reserves competitions, capping off a stellar season by the club. As a result La Trobe will move up to Division 3 in the Victorian Amateur Football League next year. This is the first time both the seniors and reserves have won in the same season.

LTU – 8 goals 14 behinds (62 points) def. Kew Amateur FC – 2 goals 8 behinds (20 points).
Seniors
LTU- 21 goals, 9 behinds (135 points) def. Albert Park FC—8 goals, 11 behinds (59 points).

Latrobe University Football Club would like to wish all our members and supporters a very merry christmas and a happy new year. Training will begin again on Monday 28th January, on Mondays and Wednesdays nights at 6pm. Wednesday night training will switch to Thursday closer to the start of the season.

Latrobe University would like to congratulate Dean Sheldrick on being re-appointed as Latrobe University Senior Coach for 2009.
Dean has demonstrated magnificent leadership skills as well as bringing new incentives and dynamics to the football club. His coaching nouse and game day strategy helped turn an injury stricken season into a competitive learning curve for several up and coming VAFA stars.
