In 2017 the club celebrated its highly anticipated 50th year, which was enjoyed by past and present members of the club. Our men's senior team, coached by Alan Ezard (Dual Essendon premiership player), were competitive throughout the season however fell short of making finals. Our men's reserves team finished 3rd on the ladder and played off in a preliminary final for the second straight season. Our under 19's had a mixed year only posting three wins however many of the boys got an opportunity to play and develop in senior or reserves call ups. Our women moved to the Northern Football League where for the first time in club history they fielded two sides in a highly competitive competition.
2018 will see the LTUFC have a redevelopment of its oval and facility at the La Trobe University Sports Fields. This is an amazing time for the club as it looks to the future and our new ovals and facilities being ready for season 2019. Throughout season 2018 LTUFC will be calling Naughton Oval at Parade College our home, as we train and play there during this season.
